Transnational Healthcare Project

Our goal is to “remove geographical barriers so every small animal can receive equal health protection.” We’ve built a collaborative network spanning 28 European countries and several regions worldwide to create a coordinated cross-border health support system.
Health Screening Program
In partnership with veterinary groups in 15 countries, we
offer free vaccinations, deworming, and physical exams for
stray animals and pets from low-income families. To date, more
than 500,000 animals have been screened and 32,000 sick
animals rescued.

Cross-border medical support
ECHAA runs a European emergency-care collaboration network,
completing over 1,200 remote consultations for rare cases and
arranging cross-country referrals.
Endangered Animal Protection
Together with the IUCN, we develop breeding standards and
disease-prevention plans for native endangered species, such
as the Iberian lynx, to support healthy reproduction.
